Los Morrales Viajers son más que mochilas con libros, son una estrategia para soñar y reconociliarse desde la lectura. Llegan a comunidades rurales o distantes y se adoptan para promover el acceso a materiales de lectura y escritura, en lugares de difícill acceso. Cada morral cuenta con 25 libros, disponibles para el préstamo y uso en comunidades y colectivos que deseen promover la lectura como estrategia para fortalecer el tejido social, la convivencia y la reconciliación.
30 Bibliotecas Públicas de 17 municipios de Norte de Santander, cuentan con el morral viajero como estrategia para la memoria, la convivencia y la equidad de género. Entre su contenido, pueden encontrarse:
- Libros que facilitan recordar (No olvidar), sentir y pensar el impacto del conflicto armado para avanzar hacia la verdad, la justicia y una cultura de paz en el territorio.
- Libros que invitan a reflexionar y explorar nuevas lecturas sobre la confianza colectiva, el sano debate público, el pluralismo, la solidaridad, la equidad social y el buen vivir, entre otros valores.
- Libros que permiten dialogar sobre la igualdad entre los géneros y empoderar a todas las mujeres y niñas.
