La Red Departamental de Bibliotecas Públicas de Norte de Santander brinda atención y fomenta los entornos de aprendizaje mediante actividades que incentivan la lectura en la población, especialmente en aquellas que no cuentan con los medios para acceder a los servicios que se brindan. La Bibliorrueda, otro de los programas, recorre los municipios más apartados con el fin de llevar literatura, títeres y educación a todos sus habitantes.
El Koha es el catálogo colectivo de la Red Departamental de Bibliotecas Públicas de Norte de Santander.
El Repositorio Norte de Santander tiene como objetivo facilitar y mejorar la visibilidad del contenido fotográfico histórico de Norte de Santander.

“JUEGO PRESIDENCIAL”
Evento que reunió durante tres días continuos a bibliotecarios públicos de diferentes municipios del departamento con el objetivo de formarlos a fin de que pudieran adquirir nuevas y mejores herramientas de trabajo para implementar en los lugares en los cuales desempeñan su labor.
Los Morrales Viajeros son más que mochilas con libros, son una estrategia para soñar y reconociliarse desde la lectura. Llegan a comunidades rurales o distantes y se adoptan para promover el acceso a materiales de lectura y escritura, en lugares de difícil acceso. Cada morral cuenta con 25 libros, disponibles para el préstamo y uso en comunidades y colectivos que deseen promover la lectura como estrategia para fortalecer el tejido social, la convivencia y la reconciliación.
Así se llevó a cabo la jornada Poesía por la paz y por la vida en el marco del Estallido Cultural de Ministerio de Cultura en las diferentes bibliotecas de Norte de Santander
